General third-party civil liability insurance (GTPCLI) protects you against financial loss that you or your family members may unintentionally cause to someone else.

Damage covered by third-party civil liability insurance

Damage to the health of a third party

Bodily injury to another person, including medical expenses, disability benefits or compensation for relatives in the event of death.

Damage to the property of a third party

In cases where the liability of the insured person for the compensation of damages arises under the Civil Law of the Republic of Latvia.

Other insured risks

General third-party civil liability insurance covers your liability as a pedestrian, cyclist, owner of a pet or livestock, owner of immovable property, as well as the liability of your minor children.
If you are a tenant, third-party civil liability insurance will protect you against the costs you may incur if you inadvertently damage your landlord’s flat.
