If you have had a minor road accident, you can fill in a European Accident Statement. After preparing it, read it carefully, check all the details, and call BALTA if you are uncertain about anything. An incorrectly prepared form could delay the payment of the insurance proceeds and risk the insurer taking recourse against you. The European Accident Statement must be submitted to the insurer within 10 days after the date of the road accident.
